Welcome to Spartans Badminton Club

We are a small but growing club who welcome players new to the game as well as those more experienced who may wish to play competitive league badminton. The club nights are held at Kippax Sports Centre on Sunday evenings from 5-7pm and are run by our experienced coach Jim Carrie. It operates on a pay as you go basis and is usually £4 per session, so you are not committed to annual subscrition charges.

We are currently running two mens teams in the Leeds & District League; one playing in the 2nd Division the other, our newest team is currently playing their first season in division 4. The home venues are played at Scott Hall Sports Centre on a Wednesday evening, with a match fee of £6 per player.

It is our aim to encourage the playing of badminton for both junior and senior players of both sexes and for all abilities in an enjoyable and fun environment with the opportunity to play at a competitive level if they wish.
